Dexter is a creative, proactive, pragmatic, clinical entrepreneur committed to constant improvement and innovation implementing the rigour of research thinking. Since qualifying as a Medical Doctor at The University of the West Indies in 2010 Dexter has worked in Elderly Care and Neurology in various hospitals in London and overseas. He was compelled to provide better safeguards for vulnerable people when a patient was financially abused and scammed out of the money meant to fund his place in a care home. Dexter developed the vision for Kalgera, assembled a capable team to develop a clear business strategy. He has successfully lead the company to win multiple awards and cash prizes from UCL, NHS England and Tech Nation as well as securing equity investment. Dexter is a Clinical Research Fellow at the UCL Dementia Research Centre and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Research Methods from UCL, Membership in the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and is an NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow.
